Accessibility

Accessibility is core business at Global Vision Media. For both ethical and legal reasons, it is pivotal in everything we do and has seen us utilised by governments as W3C consultants. In particular we were commissioned by the Municipal Association of Victoria to analyse and report on the compliance of each of the 92 municipal web sites in that state with the Equal Opportunity Act (specifically, the W3C guidelines).

We make sure our Instructional design will encompass an accessibility phase in which each interactive is assessed for its accessibility, and the pedagogical equivalence of alternates to rich media are analysed to ensure equivalent value of the package to all learners. Any audio elements will have text audio transcripts provided. Any video footage will have still images and transcripts provided as a lower-bandwidth alternative. Our on-staff audio/video team have two broadcast-quality edit suites with state-of-the-art systems and the capacity to create media that is of high quality on low-speed networks
